Easy Healthy Turkey Taco Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
- 1 Can Rotel Diced Tomatoes + Green Chillies Original
- 1 Can Rotel Hot Diced Tomatoes
- 1 Small Diced Onion
- Shredded Cheese of Choice
- One Head of Lettuce
- Himalayan Salt, Black pepper, Crushed Red Pepper, Garlic & Onion Powder or Low SodiumTaco Seasoning
Lastly, feel free to add in other ingredients such as black beans, or top with sriracha sauce.
Directions:
- Heat stove to medium, and coat pan with a light layer of olive oil. Combine turkey meat, both cans of rotel, diced onion, and seasoning to pan. Toss ingredients together while the food begins to cook. Than, after a few minutes minutes cover pan, and let simmer while stirring periodically for about 10 minutes.
- After meat is fully cooked, turn off stove, and immediately add shredded cheese to pan. Toss, and let melt.
- Wash lettuce head. Peel off layers of lettuce, and combine to layers of lettuce to make one wrap.
- Add cooked meat in lettuce wraps, serve, and enjoy!
