5 Benefits of Working Out In The Morning At Home
1. Germ Free Zone.
This is almost the most important, especially during these pandemic times.
Taking extra precautions, and staying free, and clear of others germs is a must.
Less exposure, less chance of getting sick. Plus you don’t want to pick up or spread any unwanted germs to your family members.
Although most gyms keep their facilities clean. We’re still not 100% certain that all gyms take that extra precaution on a daily or regular basis in the standard of cleanliness it should be in.
I have worked out in plenty of gyms throughout the years… I will be the first to tell you that some of those gyms are not as clean as they may seem.
As a result to staying clear of germs, it’s safe to say doing your workouts from home in your own environment is plus!
2. Privacy
YASSSSSSS! How nice is it to know, you can roll out of bed, and wear as little or as much clothing as you want.
TMI, but I personally like to wear just my panties, and a crop top while working out first thing in the morning from home. I find I workout harder when I can see my muscles working, and it encourages me to workout those areas I’m lacking in.
When you’re home, you are in a judgement free zone. No one is staring, and there is no creepy guy in the corner making you feel uncomfortable.
You also have the privacy to jam your own tunes as loud as you want, or follow an exercise video. Both of which I switch between depending on my mood or exercise routine preparation.
3. More likely to actually workout.
You’re most likely to follow through with your daily workouts when they’re in the morning, and you don’t have to travel to a gym.
Nowadays with our distracting yet productive lifestyles, it is sometimes hard to squeeze in a gym session after a long day.
Making morning workouts from home a must. Get it in, and get it done with!
Plus, there is less distraction from the world, and family in the a.m hours.
Prioritize yourself first!
4. Potential to Burn More Fat.
Yes you heard right. You have the potential to burn more fat in a morning workout sister.
You can achieve this by working out before eating breakfast. Studies have shown by simply exercising in the morning on an empty can burn up to 20% more fat.
When you wake up in the morning, insulin, and blood sugar levels are low.. Therefore, there are plenty of fatty acids floating in bloodstream waiting for your muscles to use them for energy.
It’s one of my favorite resources to use, especially if i’ve had unhealthy food choices the day before.
Working out fasted is also achieved much easier when the workout is first thing in the morning from home. I can simply Wake up, drink water, have a coffee, stretch, and workout.
Moreover, it gives me a burst of energy for the day, setting my day up for success from the very start!
5. No need to worry about a babysitter.
I have had plenty of my clients cancel their gym workouts, because they couldn’t find a babysitter, or daycare was closed, etc.
It‘s one of this biggest struggles sometimes for parents. Which can make working out at home a bonus.
You are able to still get in your workout without having to stress about it.
Then after your workout you have the time to cook a healthy breakfast for you, and your kiddos in the comfort of your own kitchen. It’s a win, win.
