Fat burning drinks for women, that will actually help aid in fat loss, boost metabolism, and keep your body feeling good with other added benefits.
This my friend is something I always enjoy being on the search for. Not that there is a “quick fix”, but it is really nice to enjoy a drink that has many benefits for our bodies, especially when they can burn fat, and boost your metabolism.
Many of these drinks you can incorporate on a daily basis, and with continuous use of them, you can really start to rev up your body in all the right ways.
Now, although I would feel wrong to not include the obvious drink known to god, which is WATER. It’s pretty obvious that water helps aid in fat loss, and is #1 choice to truly benefit the body.
So knowing this, and to not bore you with this info, I’m going to keep it off the list, but just know it’s technically there as the #1.
The drinks listed below can be found at most grocery stores, and I will also have an easy link if it sparks your interest.
So let’s dive into my favorite fat burning drinks for women.
1. COFFEE
Coffee has proven through many studies to be one of the leading fat burning drinks out there.
Which to most of us is no surprise, but let me remind you why your daily cup of Joe is so beneficial.
First, and foremost Coffee contains Caffeine! ( I know duh right..)
But did you know Caffeine can literally boost your metabolism up to 3-11% , thus allowing you to burn more calories.
Caffeine is a natural thermogenic, allowing your body to produce more internal heat, therefore also revving up your metabolism, and burning even more calories.
It can also increase the adrenaline through your blood stream which enhances physical activity/performance. When we can increase the energy of which we put out we can burn baby burn .
Lastly, caffeine can elevate our mood, and let’s be honest, when we are in a good mood we are more likely to get sh** done! The more things we get done the happier we are, which means less stress hormones running through our bodies that could cause weight gain.
So my advice if your health allows, grab that daily cup or 3 of that coffee!
P.S. Please do remember if you are looking to maintain or lose healthy weight, be sure to keep the added crap ingredients to a minimum. When you begin to add tons of milk, creams, and sugar you will have the opposite effects, and could do damage to the body + mind. Keep it clean, and healthy.
Here are my go-to coffee mixes, and starbucks drinks I like:
Starbucks Order:
Cold Brew
- Splash soy
- 1 pump liquid cane and/or stevia
Cappuccino
- Substitute e for soy or almond milk
- Extra Foam ( so it’s even less non-dairy milk )
- 1 pump liquid cane or stevia
2. Fennel Water
What the heck is this you ask?
Fennel seeds were introduced to me by a roommate of mine, in her culture this was something they drank daily due to the benefits it offered.
They are a traditional remedy that have diuretic properties that aid in detoxing the body, and combating indigestion and/or bloating.
Fennel is also known to boost metabolism, and a healthy metabolic rate will aid in weight loss.
You simply soak the seeds in water, and then drink it like a hot tea. For instance, you would mix in a tablespoon of seeds into water and allow the seeds to marinate in the water for a few hours or overnight.
Doing this can aid in weight loss, because when we allow the body to safely detox, our system can then function properly, and improve the body from storing as much fat.
3. Green Tea / Matcha
Mmmm this is my favorite go-to morning drink to kickstart the day.
Green tea carries an important compound that many others drinks do not contain. This is known as ‘Epigallocatechin gallatn” , better known as ECGC.
ECGC is known to have cytotoxic antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties allowing the body to work at optimal levels.
Green tea also contains Caffeine, which we already know has a plethora of benefits that help aid in boosting metabolism, is a natural thermogenic, and increases energy, all of which allow your body to then burn more calories, and fat.
Studies have shown that ECGC combined with the Caffeine allows for increased fat oxidation during exercise when green tea is consumed prior to working out.
Another reason why I love drinking green tea in the morning right before my workout!
4. Kombucha
Kombucha has a plethora of amazing benefits for the body. So many that it would need it’s own blog post. Therefore we’re going to only be talking about the benefits specific to weight-loss.
Kombucha contains a large amount of probiotics. Probitocs not only aid in a healthy gut, but the Lactobacillus gasseri in probiotics specifically helps aid in losing belly fat. A study shown that those who drink fermented products containing Lactobacillus lost an average of 3-4% more fat.
Kombucha also contains Acetic Acid known to reduce bloating, and overall body weight by preventing your body from processing food into fat.
If I were you I would go grab a bottle of Kombucha right now lol!
Lastly, kombucha aids in digestion, and detoxing the body. All of which allow you to maintain healthy or lose weight.
5. Apple Cider Vinegar
ACV is remarkable, and has been used for awhile in aiding in many benefits not only for the fat loss, but for acne, cleaning products etc. Apple Cider Vinegar is like a swiss army knife lol.
Again with all of its ongoing usages, i’m going to keep it simple, and just speak of the fat loss benefits it offers specifically.
ACV’s main component is Acetic acid, which we learned can reduce bloating and reduce body weight. Acetic acid also decreases insulin levels which definitely favors the fat burning process.
When insulin is low, it allows for fat to be used up for energy. Therefore we burn more fat!
Acetic acid can also boost metabolism as well, which we know can burn more calories.
How to add in ACV to your daily routine….I personally love making a ACV elixir shot:
- 1-2 Tbsn ACV
- 20Z Water
- Lemon Squeeze
- Dash turmeric or cayenne
Directions – Mix all ingredients in glass, shoot it back, chase it with a dot of honey on my finger! Whalla!!
I also add it into my salad dressings:
- 2 Tbsn ACV
- 1-2 Tbsn Olive Oil
- Garlic, Onion powders
- Himalayan salt & pepper
- A little honey
Directions – Mix in bowl, pour over salad! So delicious!!
