How to get your health back on track. If you need help to get your health goals back on track, then these tips will help you immensely.
You can always get back on track with the right guidance to help!
Which is simply why I’m sharing these 5 helpful tips. These have literally helped me so much when I found myself losing momentum.
We have all been there. We can tend to find ourselves off the planned path sometimes, and that’s ok as long as we know how to get back on track quick.
These tips have helped me get back on track, so I know they will help you!
1. Re-Write Your Goals + Action Plan.
Remember how you felt NEW YEARS day? You had all that positive energy, you had all those creative juices flowing, you were inspired from every angle, and your game plan was clearly mapped out!
What an incredible feeling right?!
Take a moment to get back to those feelings. Step into that NEW YEAR, NEW YOU again for just a few minutes..
Now imagine that it’s new year’s eve, and tomorrow is a fresh start into the new year. You have a clear vision on what you want accomplish. You have a clear plan of execution on how to get there..
Stay here for a moment. While you’re in this state of mind, open up a journal or grab a pad paper nearby, and Re-write or revise your goals. Then write a new plan of action to execute them!
Allow yourself to get lost in your thoughts.
This allows us to reignite that fire, reminds us of what is important, and why we are wanting to accomplish certain things in our life. It’s the greatest form of Inspiration.
2. Get Inspired By Other’s.
What do I mean by this? Personally when I need FITNESS INSPO I love to watch a Youtube Video of one of my favorite fit chicks, or listen to a Motivational Podcast, and/or Read a Book on the subject that intrigues me most in that area i’m working on in my life.
Having these resources at our hands is so amazing, and it’s something that we should be taking full advantage of especially when we do need that inspiration in our lives.
Watching, Listening, and/or Reading someone else’s story can sometimes be just the motivation we need to get back on track. Maybe it’s getting a new idea on a new fitness routine, or a different recipe to add into your health plan.
Whatever it may be for you, I highly recommend taking full advantage of all those resources.

3. Set Reminder’s On Your Phone.
Set reminders of your goals, or your plan of action on your phone!
This method is genius, and I found out about this from my favorite author Brendon Burchard.
He recommends setting daily reminders, multiple times per day of your goals, or the action you want to take toward that goal. In doing so, this helps to reignite that fire, and self awareness toward the things we want to accomplish.
In a world that can be ever so distracting, and chaotic at times.. I found this method to be super helpful.
Setting a reminder first thing in the morning, around lunch time, and in the evening is a great way to start. My reminder will typically have 3 goals or actions listed, and those 3 goals will go off in my phone 3x daily.
For Example:
- Gym/Film
- Read A Chapter of Book
- Write Blog Post
Another Example:
- Meditate
- Meal Prep or Eat Clean
- Yoga
Try this method out, and let me know what you think!
4. Invest In New Gym Gear, or Try New Supplements.
Honestly, sometimes a little retail therapy can really do the trick.
Have you ever purchased something new, and you couldn’t wait to try it?
That feeling of “I cant wait to try this out, or wear this new thing to the gym.” It’s super exciting to feel that, and it truly motivates me to get back on it!
Wouldn’t you agree that getting a new pair of yoga pants, new stylish shoes, or those new headphones make you want to throw them, on and show them off!?
Heck yes it does!
Another great motivator to get back on your fitness track, is to purchase or repurchase a specific supplements you’ve been dying to try or need to restock on.
I remember numerous times when I would run out of Protein Powder, Bcaa’s or maybe a Pre Workout drink I enjoyed, and because I didn’t have it in stock at the house I would sometimes use that as an excuse as to why my workouts sucked, or why I didn’t have energy to go to the gym.
Anyone else guilty of this!?
Just by simply restocking on my supplements it would seriously give me such a boost to hit the gym hard as soon as possible.
Favorite Supplements:
- Protein powder – Plant Powered ( Delicious Flavor )
- BCAA’S
- Pre Workout – I mainly stick to COFFEE these days!
Sometimes it’s those little things that can make a huge difference.
5. Change Up Your Music.
Lastly, this can be a big game changer in getting you back into the groove of your fitness goals.
We all typically tend to stick with the same playlists. We do this because that music gave us energy, so we play it over and over again until it becomes just background noise. Blahhhh, and Boring!
It may be time to jazz up your playlist.
Download some new tunes, and get pumped up again when working out or doing your yoga flow.
New music creates New vibes!
